This week has been so much fun! On Wednesday, Rose and Dad came to
visit! They brought Emmy and Maggie. We took all the dogs for a 1.5
mile walk through the prairie and sculpture park.
Rose enjoyed the walk-although she got a bit tangled!
After our walk, we went to dinner at Jupiter's. While the pizza was amazing the wait was not. We ended up waiting over an hour for our pizza. We were pretty sure if the pizza didn't arrive soon Rose was going to eat our waiter. After dinner Dad, Maggie and Emmy began the journey home (Emmy had a hot date with her Mom!). Rose and I got to spend some time chatting and cooking (Ok with us chatting and cooking also includes singing and dancing).
On Thursday Rose and I went shopping for her BiRtHdAy!!!! We got purses, nail polish, shoes, clothes, hair dye and stopped at VS (so basically we hit all the store to qualify the trip as a successful day of shopping!) After shopping we dyed my hair, made cookie cake and headed to Mom's for a family party. We had all of Rose's favorite foods (anything without veggies :) ). Rose got some pretty cool presents and we got to hang out with Zach while listening to Abbey sing and play guitar!
On Friday I had to work but Rose tried to nap with the girls. It went about as expected....she slept for a little while until the dogs got bored. Then they woke her up by jumping on her!
All in all we had a great visit and can't wait for her to come back in September!!!
